Composé complètement sur laptop entre janvier et avril 2016, à Montréal et à St-Damien-de-Brandon, "Spores" propose deux heures de musique électronique puisant son inspiration autant dans l'ambient (Brian Eno, Cluster, Oneothrix Point Never, Tim Hecker) et la "kosmische musik" des années 1970 (Tangerine Dream/Edgar Froese, Klaus Schulze, Ash Ra Tempel/Manuel Göttsching) que dans l'IDM (Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Autechre, µ-Ziq, The Black Dog) - pour ne nommer seulement qu'une partie des influences conscientes et inconscientes de l'album.

La musique de "Spores" est également indirectement inspirée par l'histoire des sciences, les animaux de la forêt québécoise, les champignons, la lune, la prestidigitation, la science fiction, la méditation, l'anarchisme, la géométrie et la mer.

Composed entirely on laptop between January and April 2016, in Montreal and St-Damien-de-Brandon, "Spores" offers two hours of electronic music influenced by ambient music (Brian Eno, Cluster, Oneothrix Point Never, Tim Hecker), "kosmische musik" of the 70's (Tangerine Dream / Edgar Froese, Klaus Schulze, Ash Ra Tempel / Manuel Göttsching) and IDM (Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Autechre, μ-Ziq, The Black Dog) - to name only a part of the conscious and unconscious influences of the album.

Music of "Spores" is also indirectly inspired by the history of science, animals of the Quebec's forests, mushrooms, moon, stage magic, science fiction, meditation, anarchism, geometry and sea.
